This was my first section of the build, with this I isolated the sections of the arms and centred them before putting them on separate layers. The reason for doing this was so that I could align the parts to save time if I were to make a mistake. I found that this was a very efficient method when building as it saved me lots ion time fixing any issues which I had made due to the separate parts being more isolated.
In this second image I had completed the arms and aligned it perfectly facing north. After I had done this, I copy and pasted the arm four times and rotated them 72 degrees so that the arms were all perfectly spaced out, In addition to this I had done this with the legs so that they were aligned with the arms. I fount this to be a slight issue as I made the mistake of wrongly copying the legs and rotating them. I was able to correct this by carefully rotating all of the legs at once to be as closely aligned with the arms as possible.
after the previous two steps I then copy and pasted the head sections. I didn't align these parts to be facing the same direction to the arms ad I didn't need to rig them, therefore making it an unnecessary step.

This image shows the bones made for use with the arms. To make these I simply used the skeleton tool and drew them to the shape of the arm and matching the length of the individual arm section. I then used the same copy and paste technique as they would be perfectly aligned with the rest of the arms. I then made the skeletons for the individual legs. When making the ones for the legs I had to made a set off skeletons for each individual leg due to the orientation issue. I found this to be a mild challenge which I was able to overcome fairly quickly.
Once the skeletons had been made I checked the alignment by showing the outline for the layer which contained the completed model. I found that this was a success once all the alignment issues regarding the legs had been overcome.
The last step before animating the model was to surface the arms and legs. When surfacing the limbs, I made sure to give each limb a separate colour to distinguish each limb and cause less issues figuring out each limb apart latest on. Once this was completed I then made weight maps. the reason for making the weight maps is to stop sections of the model from sticking together when animating. I also did this to the arms for the same purpose. This however didn't fully work as the body was deformed slightly when using the arms during the animating process. In addition to the fact that there were multiple versions of certain model sections overlapping. This issue was easily fixed as I was able to remove each section until there was one of each,
